Jiangsu Yawei Transformer Co., Ltd. Invested new project together with Electricite Du Cambodge
On June 5th, the Cambodia-China smart power station equipment manufacturing project with a total investment of 300 million US dollars was signed and settled in Hai'an High-tech Zone. This is another cooperation project successfully signed by Hai'an under the framework of the "Belt and Road".
Hong Zhi'an, Vice Chairman of EDC, Gu Guobiao, Secretary of Hai'an Municipal Party Committee and others witnessed the signing of the project on site and via video. Chen Pengjun, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor, Wang Ronggui, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of Publicity, Zhang Yonghua, secretary of the Party Working Committee of the High tech Zone, Deng Jiazhong, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee and director of the Management Committee of the District, etc. attended the signing ceremony.
Hong Zhian, Vice Chairman of EDC, introduced the project. The project is jointly invested by Electricite Du Cambodge (EDC) and Jiangsu Yawei Transformer Co., Ltd. with a registered capital of 100 million US dollars and a land area of 70 mu, including 200 million yuan of equipment investment and 50000 square meters of factory building area. It mainly produces intelligent power station equipment. After being put into operation, the estimated annual sales revenue is 1 billion yuan.
Gu Guopei, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, said in his speech that Cambodia is an important node of the "the Belt and Road" and an important channel from Southeast Asia to the global market. The High tech Zone should serve the construction of this major project well, support Jiangsu Yawei Transformer Co., Ltd. to continue to strengthen its efforts in the Cambodian market, and strive to build a model project of multilateral cooperation of the "the Belt and Road", making new contributions to the economic and trade cooperation between China and Cambodia.
